New Furuno / Suzuki MFD Units - SMD6/9/12 ?

I've heard Furuno has announced a new MFD unit that was designed in partnership with Suzuki to support Suzuki outboards. The unit looks basically like a TZTouch 2 but I don't see anything about this on the Furuno site or on this forum (yes, I searched).
Can someone from Furuno please provide some info on this new unit and try to answer the questions below?

1) When is this unit available for sale?

2) Is this new SMD unit being sold to compete with the Yamaha, Mercury, and
Evinrude engine management displays?

3) Aside from the smaller form factor that is planned, what are the differences
between the SMD units and the TZTouch 2?

4) Somewhat related... why did Furuno not provide a "Suzuki page" for the
TZTouch2 like the Yamaha page that was just released in 6.21 software update?

1) When is this unit available for sale?

Please contact Suzuki because this product will not be sold by Furuno. The Suzuki SMD 7/9 can use the same sensors as the Furuno GP1871F/GP1971F. The Suzuki SMD 12/16 can use the same sensors and the Furuno TZTL12F/TZTL15F. The sales and support for the Suzuki SMD will be provided by Suzuki.

Suzuki SMDs have dedicated OEM screens and functionality. I will pass your suggestion to product development in regards to the TZT2. Anything specific to Suzuki SMDs should be asked directly to Suzuki support.
