Networking @ Furuno RDP139

I have attempted to connect 2 Furuno RDP139 using Furuno Navnet Quick reference guide multiple configurations. The Host name Radar (master) has program 1020.3 and the Host plotter has program 1017. I am able to see the radar on both screens but when I try to access the plotter they are different. What should I check for? Can you send me program 1020.3 and the procedure to download it so that both units have the same program? Thank you

With the network set up, only the radar is functioning on both units. On the Plotter I cannot get the map from the Host (radar). When I go into Network set up on the host, under the host "chart source" I cannot get it to input RADAR. It will only" accept RADAR -1". Is this the reason why I cannot see the map from the Host (Radar)? How do I rectify this? Thank you

I tried several times using Furuno Computer Network Setup Instructions for Microsoft windows operating system for Windows NT.I am able to establish communications but when I perform network communication test I get "ping 172.031.003.003 is not recognized as a internal or external command," I am using the network port on the Furuno RDP139. Do I have to make changes in the select sntnc page? What am I doing wrong? Any procedures, literature or help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for your patience.

Here is a direct link to the support page for a NN1 10.4". You will find the installation manual and ops manuals posted there. If the error on the DOS ping command says not recognized, it is likely that you have used the preceding zeros in the address. Normally it would be "Ping 172.31.3.3" for the command to poll that IP address.

OK making some progress. I have verification of communication on local Lan. Following "Software Update instructions" At #7 step 6/13 I can not proceed any further even shutting the Navet unit off then on. I probably tried 2 dozen times. What's wrong?
Note: LAN speed 10.0 Mbps
