Navpilot 511 - Hard to Port turn

Hello All
I have got an issue with a Navpilot 511. After about 15 seconds of being engaged in "Auto" it is making a hard turn to Port. So hard that I had to go back into standby mode to correct it. I have read on other forums it could be the heading position sensor. Has anyone else had this issue? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It could be your heading sensor or your rudder reference unit.
Ensure that HDG is within a couple degrees of COG when running N, E, S, and W in as little wind and current as possible, at 6knots or better.
Hand steer your rudder hard over to hard over and watch your rudder graph. Ensure it moves smoothly and evenly all the way across.

I will check this and report back. Thanks

Did you get your 511 problem? I have the exact same problem! All my diagnostic test pass OK. What is your software level?
