NavPilot 511 and PG500 with TZT3

I am considering installing a NavPilot 511 with the PG500 Heading Sensor. Two questions:

1) Can I connect the older NP511 and PG500 to a newer model TZT3 MFD?
1a) If possible do I do it through NMEA2000 or NMEA183 or through a different connection?

2) With the NavPilot300 and the PG700 it appears a Rudder Feedback sensor (FAP-6112) is NOT required. Is a Rudder Sensor required for the older Navpilot 511 and PG500 or can I run the AP with just the PG500?

Thank you.

A1) Yes, the TZT3 can drive steering information to the older 511 via 0183 output from the display unit. If you want heading from the PG500 to get to the TZT3, you would need to add an IF-NMEA2k2 0183 to NMEA 2000.

A2) The newer Navpilot 300 and 700 have a feature called "Fantum Feedback" that allows operations on center consoles without need for an RRU. The older 511 MUST have an RRU.
