NavPilot 300

I have been looking at purchasing the 711C/OB for a while now, but now the 300 is available I’m unsure what I should buy. I have a couple of questions:

- Does the 300 need a RRU to utilise Fish Hunter mode?
- Does the 300 have the same features as the 711C?
- Is one superior to the other, as the price difference suggests?

The Navpilot 300 does not require a rudder feedback to use the Fish Hunter modes.
The feature sets are almost the same, however the 300 has no course knob and can not work with solenoids.

If your boat is an outboard I would recommend the 300.

Thank you for your response. I do have an ourtboad installation. The savings on the 300 and no requirement for a RRU makes it a no brainer.
