NavPilot 300 Optimus package

I have a boat with seastar optimus steering installed but no joystick. What is the difference between the NAVPILOT 300-OPT, and the NAVPILOT 300? I love the SCX20 and would like to do that with the NavPilot 300 but if I need to buy the OPT version I will just use the PG700. The pictures make the difference look like a couple a maretron Canbus connectors but I haven't found a parts list.

Can't answer you about the hookups. My system is Volvo and needed a gateway to connect to the EVC but maybe your's doesn't need a gateway. Anyway I went with the SCX20 heading sensor instead PG700. The electronics dealer just ordered the the Volvo kit without the PG700. I don't see any reason why you'd need it if you already have the SCX20.

The normal Navpilot 300 doesn't come with the PG700 and some of the NMEA 2000 accessories to connect up your drive by wire connection.
