NavNet DJ1 plug question

I want to move the NavNet display - it has a rectangular plug on the back which does not fit through the cable hole. Does the cable going in to the rectangular plug come off so I can pass the smaller round part thru the opening?

Yes, it is possible to remove the pins from the connector but normally simpler to do that at the scanner end, then run the cable and re-pin the while molex connectors than to repin the DJ1.
