I just replaced a 600 transducer with a SS60-12 and my screen is solid red/brown. Also I can't get the sounder settings off of auto. Everytime I change to manual and return it goes right back to cruise. Any ideas?

Is the KEEL mark on the SS60 pointed correctly? Did anyone paint the transducer? Are you sure the NavNet display is not in SIMULATE mode for the sounder? Have you checked the jumpers inside the BBFF1 are correct? (Ensuring that J12 is set between pins 1-2 for 600w and that J8 is between pins 1-2)
