So are there any options with decent bathymetry charts for fishing in the northern gulf since navionics plus is not an option on the tztouch2? cmap has the detail at the deep shelf but nothing in shallower areas like navionics +. Seems like every other brand has an option or this capability.

I recommend you get with our tech support and provide them a Lat/Lon of the area you are looking at. C-map has separate bathy charts from the Navigation charts and they can provide you some screen samples. CMOR is also an option in some areas.
