Multiple TZTouch2 connection

Did anybody have an experience with connecting multiple TZtouch2 on the network?
Would it be better to have it connected only by ethernet or by only by NMEA2000?
Or both: NMEA2000 and ethernet as a matter of redundancy? Would it use ethernet first and then NMEA2000 once/if ethernet fails?

For the system to work correctly, you must have both Ethernet and NMEA 2000 connected. The only exception is if you have zero NMEA 2000 items, then it is okay to have just Ethernet.
