MFD8 w GP330B GPS Date Jan 01, 2003

Have MFD8 with DFF1 & GP330B. On the GPS status page my system does not show any satellites and list the date as Jan 1, 2003. Updated the MFD-8 software to version 2.13 and it is still not fixed.

System works fine except for the date/time. The GPS Icon is enabled on the status bar and my plotter updates as I move position so I know the GPS is working.

Need help!

Have you ran the installation wizard and checked what GPS source you have set as the primary in the GLOBAL - DATA SOURCES?

Thanks for the quick reply.

You got me to the right place. The system listed the GP-330B under OWN NMEA0183port1 - but the check box for DATE & TIME was not checked.

Checked the box and it works great now!
