MCU001 needs to be registered every time it boots up

Good day,

We have a MFDBB unit with 1 MCU001.
When pressing the power button on the MCU001 the MFDBB boots up normally.
However everytime it requires to register the MCU001 again via the 3 buttons (left scrolling button, right cursor button and rotary knob pressed)
then the system works ok. but after a reboot it has to be done again.
There is a USB mouse connected and that is always working. Only the MCU require registration again.
Latest software 2.13 is running on the system.

Is there any advice how to solve this?

Start the system and register the MCU001. Make sure everything is powered up and running. Then, run the installation wizard. That will create a new configuration file and should hold the settings.
When powering down the system, make sure you do not hold the power button beyond the countdown timer. Holding it for around eight seconds will initiate a force-off and can corrupt settings.
