Sorry if this has been asked, I tried search first
TZ14, 303, radar and FA150.... over winter lay up, North up is displayed. Heads up greyed out. Boat dont turn on maps... its annoying
the 303 sees satellites, The FA-150 now shows a date of sept 29th 2005,
Nothing has been updated since install a decade ago...
checked connections (up in ceiling under dash... noboby has been in it)
tried wifi connect and update tz14... fails... looking at 4.21 version it wants
I've downloaded 6.03... hunting sdcard (and reader) to attempt to update TZ14..
I thought the installer used port 4 off the FA-150 into a small nema data converter.... it has a flashing yellow lite... blue & blue green wire connected
I see a ton of sensor updates on furuno website, Did the April 2025 need to be applied? Do I have to apply each one in order if needed?
following the user manual, I did reset several pages... now, under sensor list, the if-nema (?) isnt listed but a couple times when it seemed to be the whole list
Now, when I try to select other AIS targets on charts, I dont get cpa/tpa data...
The FA-150 does work... others see me and I see me on marinetraffic
Can I jump straight to 6.03 or do I have to do jumps?
Could I have somehow changed a setting while cleaning display (it was really dirty)?
Does Furuno refurbish TZ14s still? Got air bubble going around edges that seems to grow every winter, but touch works?
Help me be a superstar and fix.... Tech says he's 2 weeks out... Yes, I see I can't update the FA-150. need tech (and his cable/software) for that
