Looking at the TZ XL series

I’m liking what is packed into these units! Looking at either the 10 or 13 inch models. I’ve been getting a little hung up understanding the transducer options though. So I could get the sidescan in transom mount but would it be better to have 2? This looks like it would be good for trolling and fishing the bouys. It also seems like these should show 200-300 feet when stopped. Then when it’s time for some bottom fishing use the 1kw of the unit with a low or medium transducer or possibly dual frequency for fishing 600-900 feet? Do I need a black box to do this? Not a lot of room at the console to add additional units.
Not sure if I’m way off on this or not.

The TZTXL Unit has an integrated sounder, (fish finder) so you would not need any black box sounder units. You could have a CW (50/200 kHz) transducer for down view bottom fishing connected along with side scan plugged into the TZTXL. The Transom Mount side scan has both elements built in to one package so you would not run two of them. If you wanted to have that type of setup you could go with the 455T-PR903 It is a set of paired Thru Hull transducers that work with the built-in CHIRP Side-Scan functionality on your NavNet TZtouchXL TZT10X, TZT13X, or TZT16X MFD.
