Back in 1999 I bought a brand new 1721. I've had it on my boat year-round since day one. I figured out how to tell how many hours are on the unit.
On Time is 300 hours.
Transmit Time is 206 hours.
My question is how many more years/hours can I expect to get out of this radar?
I have seen magnetrons on radars go well over expected lifespan, as well as the displays. So as long as you take good care of the radar and get regular maintenance when needed, that radar should give you plenty of years of use still.
