Furuno Super Fan
I am using 520-5PSD 600W transducer for my Time Zero (connecting to BBDS1 bottom discrimination). I want to upgrade to 1KW 50/200 kHz and I found a used bronze 1KW transducer but I am not sure if it work with my BBDS1. Does any one know what model number of this transducer and how to connect with my 1100 Furuno matching box. Thank you

It appears to be an Airmar B260 transducer (aka 526T-HDD) that someone cut the connector off of. This wouldn't need a MB1100 matching box. It only needs a Furuno 10-pin pigtail cable, part number AIR-033-333. With this pigtail cable, wire up the blue, black, bare, white and brown wires only (color for color) to the transducer wires. You can order that cable from a Furuno dealer.

Color me confused. While the MB1100 isn't needed, you are attempting to do it anyways? You are attempting to take the temp wires (White and Brown) thru the matching box?

linkkienbodam,

The B260/526T-HDD Transducer already has a built-in diplexer, so there is no need to use that MB1100 Matching Box..! 😳

You just need to order a AIR-033-333 Furuno 10-Pin Extension Cable/Assy like TheReaper stated, and then match up the wires color to color.
If the 526T-HDD is wired correctly, it should provide you with Bottom Discrimination capability for your BBDS1.

JUST DO NOT USE THAT MB1100 MATCHING BOX..!!

- Deep Blue ;)
