I have a gp1971f. How do I get the highway screen? Do I need a heading sensor? If so, what one?

Thank you for your inquiry.
The Highway screen is one of the various instrument pages that can be displayed. From the HOME screen you would need to construct a page that includes an instrument display (1/4 screen that is light blue and looks like a dial/gauge). Once you have created a custom page with an instrument display, LONG TAP on the instrument window and an EDIT page will appear. From this edit page you can scroll and select which instrument display(s) you would like to display. Scroll down until you see HIGHWAY, and enter it. You can have up to (7) different instrument displays configured. If you have configured/established more than one instrument display; from the screen simply swipe up or down on the instrument display itself and this changes which instrument you are currently viewing.
A Heading Sensor is not required for this system, however it is certainly a nice addition as it would provide a correct Head Up chart display (even while the vessel is not in motion)

I have looked several times for a highway screen and could not find it. It was my only disappointment with this unit. Just went out side and found it on my first try.
