Hadware Fan Speed Alarm on TZT15

I am getting an alarm on my TZT15 that says hardware fan speed alarm, it beeps until I acknowledge it. This is the first time I have seen this and the unit seems to be working fine. Has anyone ever seen this before? What is the fix for it?

What software are you running on your TZT2? I would recommend to update your software to the most up to date (version 3.01).

DB Cooper, at your suggestion I updated the software in my unit to the 3.01 (it was much easier than I expected), however I am still getting the hardware fan speed alarm.

Has anyone else experienced this alarm? Does Furuno have a fix for this?

If still getting the alarm you need to have the unit evaluated. It sounds like your internal fan has a problem.
