GP1971f to FCV-800

I have these 2 units installed on my boat.
What NMEA1083 connections and settings do I need for them to talk to each other ?

When doing wiring I always recommend referring to page S-1 of the manual that shows the wiring and color code. TD=Transmit data RD=Receive Data.

I went with the same settings and connections as connecting a FCV-588 to GP-1971 and seems to work good in the garage.Have not tried on the water yet.

Hi Johnny. So I have my GP1871f connected to my FCV800 via NMEA0183. And I think I did it correct. Blue wire TD to blue RD white wire TD to white RD. (Or is my wiring wrong ? When I push the Mark key is keeps saying no position data.

I have the same set up but don’t understand which cables to connect together. I matched all the colors to each other and I am not getting any data.
