GP1971F S/N Warranty

During my last visit to my boat which in four hours away, I forgot to find my GP1971F S/N on the back of the unit as instructed via a seperate post. I plan on visiting my boat the first of December and obtain that information and then register my unit on your website. I took delivery and had it installed in mid August. My question is, is there a time limit which I must register my unit for warranty after recieving it and having installed on my boat.

It is when it is shipped and put into service that matters for warranty. You can register you ownership at any time.
