Just replaced a well used GP1850, with a new GP1971, with a BW285 transducer and new C-Map 4D chart. Contacted C-Map, chart is most current with files dated 11/18/21. Upon power up, I get the attached error message. Just received everything brand new in mid December and guess where C-Map sent me, lol. Thanks in advance, Brian.

Well there's nothing wrong with the unit, but perhaps something going on with the card. I would recommend you take it back to your dealer to verify if it does this (or not) on another device. Chart card issues should be routed to C-MAP for support. The other thing is to check the unit's software and make sure it's up to the latest software.

Solved. Not going to mention any names, but be sure to use a reputable dealer. Mine used to be, but not any longer. They tried to copy a chart, took my $290 and don't want to talk about it. Funny, I spent 23K with them in 2013!
Anyway, thank you C-Map who honored my receipt and sent me a good chart card!
