GP1871F version 5.1 update and CMAPS issue

I have a GP 1871F that has just been updated to the ver 5.1. the screen is locking up with the CMAPS the navionics is working fine. Does anyone have similar issues.

Support hasn't heard of any. It sounds like you got a bad card. You might want to contact C-map and talk to them. There have been times in the past where they had some bad batches but they normally very good about replacing them. It is not common to see someone with both types of charts. Normally one chooses one over the other. The hardware obviously works if the unit can read the Navionics card fine. It is good you can run the Navionics card until you get this sorted out with C-map.
