GP1870F with 525TID-TMD issues

I have a GP1870F GPS/Fishfinder and a transom mounted 525TID-TMD transducer. The problem I have is that the depth recorder gets intermittent depth readings and bottom contour after 450 feet. This is at idle and slow speeds with little or no readings at faster speeds. Adjusting the settings from auto to manual helped a little.

The next you are in that depth of water please take a screen shot that is showing both 50 & 200Khz, the range set manually and the gains set 50%. I would like to see what you are seeing.
