GP 33 software/firmware upgrade to include PGN 129025

I have an earlier version of the GP 33 and it does not transmit PGN 129025, Position, Rapid Update. I need this for navigation software (it requires both 129025 and 129029)
Does anyone know if you can do an software/firmware update (ideally in the field as we are cruising in southeast Asis) which will solve this issue.

Currently we do not have a software update that will output PGN 129025 from the GP33. I've requested information about this and will let you know what information I get back. In the meantime, do you have the optional NMEA0183 cable for this unit? If so, you may be able to send NMEA0183 data to your nav program to satisfy it's GPS requirement.

Hello its an old post (2014) but i wake up this morning with the problem of not having my GP33 transmit a basic 12905 PGN to a new equipment requiring it. It seems to be the standard on other GPS brand.

Since 2014 has Furuno position changed on being able to send PGN 129025 ?

Checking the posted manual and brochure specifications page, PGN 129025 is not listed.

It appears that this device provides PGN 129029 (GNSS Position data) and others. If you must have PGN 129025 the GP33 isn't the device you need. The old post information holds true.
