GP 1871 F with a TM150M

Goodday, I haver installed a GP1871F on a boat with a TM150M (ie 300w chirp) Looking for anyone else that has had experience with this transducer at speed, on the plane. I have done a few installation with the P66 and not a days trouble past 50km/h. Is there an issue with AIRMAr chirp at speed? If not im sure i can tweek some settings.

What is exactly going on with your TM150M and GP1871F, you losing information at high speeds?

yes the bottom is lost, ive tried increasing the gain, max power and transmission rate. The customer has now put the transducer on a rig to lower it a bit, with the same result.

Because chirp sweeps a band of freqs it can pick up turbulence better if you have it going on. I would recommend sounder photos be posted in the sounder topic area and let people look at the screens.
