Furuno1870F plotter zoom

Hi, using the 1870F for the first time last weekend I couldnt zoom the plotter in any more than .05 Km ( 50 metres ) this makes it very difficult to locate small holes and ledges that I normally fish.. Do I have any options to zoom in further.. My previous Hummingbird could zoom into 5 metres.. kinda wishing id kept the old one!

What Jeppesen 4D chart are you using and what is the latitude and longitude of the area with the issue.

Hi Melville, I have ditched the packet it came in.. but on the actual card is written C-Map 40 dated February 12 2014 0077 port eyre to Apollo Bay. The area I am fishing is S 34degrees 32.200 E 137 degrees 09.700 . which is off Port Victoria in South Australia.

If you want to range in really closely, I would suggest changing some of the chart settings. Try MENU - MAP - MAP CONFIGURATION - DISPLAY MODE = CUSTOM , CHART LOCK = OFF
