furuno tztl 2 et furuno gp 1971

hello what's the difference between the 1971 gp sounder and the tztl 2 sounder. except that the furuno gp 1971 has the chirp. which is best. do you have any information on the update of the furuno tztl 2 merçi

There is little difference in the standard sounder for these two units with the exception of the ability to run a single frequency CHIRP on the 1971. Both standard sounders are 1kW and the feature set is the same.
The next version of software for the TZT2 is forthcoming, but no date yet.
