Need help hooking up ais black box with NMEA 0183 data cable to my furuno nav net vx2 rdp-149.

If you connect up 0183 AIS into an RDp-149 (10.4") it MUST go into data 2 on the Yellow (+) and Green (-) wires of the data cable. When connected data port 2 becomes an AIS port only. You can not use any other NMEA 0183 in or out from from data 2.
