If your B260 has a Furuno 10-pin connector on it, then no matching box needed. Here's how to change the power output on DFF1 from the Operator's Manual.

It would only need a matching box if it isn't diplexed. The DFF1 needs a diplexed B260 (with one +/-) transducer pair. If you have a non-diplexed B260 that would normally go to something with a HF and LF input (two wire pairs) the you would still need an Airmar matching box to connect it up properly to the DFF1.
