I just rec'd my new FCV-628. Quite a move up from my old 603. My question: I only want two things connected to the 628, the xducer and a 12V power supply, do I just ignore all the other wires in the VDC/NMEA cable?

On the power cable you just need the Red and the Black (power input) wires. To protect the NMEA input/output ports I would recommend taping off all the other colored wires so they don't short together.
