Furuno 588 transducer pin

I recently installed the Furuno 588 fish finder, we matched it with the Airmar 520T-BLD my understanding was this match would give me water temp according to the Furuno tech desk rep. Everything works great except I have not been successful getting water temp to show on the unit. When I go to menu and transducer my 520TBLD is not on the list? Do I have to somehow manually enter that specific number to register water temp? If so how do you do that? The manual doesn’t have that info but other online references suggest that’s what I need to do?

Set the 520T-BLD as a generic 600W.


Make sure the temp source is set to "OWN"
