Furuno 1870F

My Furuno 1870F was recently reset to factory settings. The fish finder, depth, etc. seems fine. However, the GPS does not seem to be connecting. I have a “No Fix” message on most screens. I’m a newby setting these things up and any help is greatly appreciated. Everything is connected up correctly as the GPS function was working fine prior to the factory reset. The unit was reset because it is new to me and I thought setting it up from scratch would make it easier to set up how I want it . . . kinda back-fired. Thanks in advance . . .

Have you checked the satellite status page? Are you seeing any satellites.

Can't seem to find a satellite status page? Can you point me in the correct direction?

I should also add that I have an external antenna (GPA017). I see that in addition to choosing the internal GPS and automatic in the input screen is the ability to choose IF-NMEA2K2.

The Satellite status screen is one of the selection under home.

Thanks I will check that . . . I spoke with a Furuno employee on Friday using the customer service line . . . he advised me to set the input to "automatic" and the nav speed to low, which I did. Unfortunately it did not do the trick.
