Frequency Settings

I have an FCV 1150 paired with a CM599LH CHIRP transducer. Is there a single frequency, on the high and low side that the transducer and/or the 1150 operates best at? For example, 42 Khz on the low side, and 195 KHz on the high side.

Also, can the 1150 be set at 42 Khz as my fundamental frequency, with a bandwidth of 20 KHz on the low side, and 155 KHz fundamental, with a 30 KHz bandwidth on the high side?

Thank you very much

808double.e,
As you can see in the below frequency sweeps the LF side of the 500 series is pretty wide. Starting at 42Khz with a BW of 21Khz on the LF is a good place to start. I also think that the HF works better at the lower end of it frequency range.

808double.e,
If you want me to pick two frequencies that the transducer is most active I would say 35 and 120Khz. I can't say that these are the frequencies you need to use however. That's why starting with a center frequency at 42Khz will give you the widest LF range to choose from.
