What format is a 7"vx2?I am transferring waypoints and need the format to transfer them to a computer program.Thank you Mike
The Vx2 is not in an open format. MaxSea Classic or C-Map Planner software has the ability to read and save in the Vx2 format. You can also conduct a NMEA dump of the data, to a PC, using the RS232 data port, wired as shown in the manual. If you need a text or doc file with your points (for printing) or would like them put in a more standard format (Like GPX), please open a support case and attach your Vx2 files, and we will gladly covert them for you. If you want planning software for editing; I recommend C-map planner from Jeppesen.
