Flybridge autopilot installation

I have full Furuno installation with VX2 and Navpilot 500 inside the boat. On the flybridge I have a small screen (GD-1710C). Is there any easy way I can do an installation so I can control the autopilot from the flybridge?

There may be an easier way but according to the manual, it looks like you could add another one of these control stations on the bridge: FAP-5001, or FAP-5011, or FAP-5021. I would verify prior to purchase. They can be found on eBay new and used. I'm sure you could find other sources. Looks like the FAP-5011 would be the most cost effective.

The pilot has two control channels that can support up to SIX total control heads (three each per channel). Each channel must end with a bus terminator. If you have one control now, it is normally simple enough to remove the bus terminator from the back, then connect a cable to the second and then put the terminator on the end of the last unit in the bus. (Called daisy chain) The part number of the cable depends on the length of cable you need. The normal one used it 10 meters (p/n 000-147-231).
