Furuno has FLIR support now depending on the model.
Yes there are changes planned to support the newer IP video from FLIR.

Based on a previous thread you can currently use the m232 on the tzt2 if you use a decoder. I’m got the decoder but having a difficult time installi g it and making it work. Software update can’t come fast enough lol

Yes it is a pain to setup those decoders. Contact Tech support because I think they have a help document on that which isn't posted. It most likely be the beginning of the year for the software to support it without a decoder.

Yes I’m leaning that. It’s the right cables etc from the decoder to the tzt2. The HDMI cable doesn’t work. I got the instructions but you gotta link the decoder i p first

I got the FLIR m232 installed and running using the decoder. Works great!
