FI-501 Wind

Question: I have a FI-501 Wind display with dedicated Win transducer connected to it. I need another FI-501 on the boat that can be chained to the 1st unit. Q: Can i split the signal from the Wind transducer for both units - or will it be done via the NMEA2000 chain? Thank you in advance

It will be done via NMEA 2000.

The FI-501 acts as a converter and provides the NMEA 2000 data to the bus. (Basically what FishTech said)
