Fcv588 vs fvc295

Looked on the board to try to find a answer to this, could not.
Have a small 21' fishing boat installing new electronics.
Fish mostly in 100' to 200' of water bottom fishing.

Had a 295 on a bigger boat and loved it.
Decided to try the 588 on this smaller boat because of space.
But.....

But how much difference is there in the 588 vs 295 using the same transducer.
Going to use a Ca50/200-12M in a fairing block.
Is it worth double the price for the 295 ?

It really depends on how you plan to use the sounder. The FCV-295 has more features than the FCV-588, but the key point is will you use them. If you just need the basic functions the FCV-588 is fine.
