fcv295 to B175L

Hi snips, could you please shed some light on why this is happening?
all pics were on the same day. winds were light and variable. conditions were flat.
Have a r111LH and a B175L connectd to fcv295. b175 connected to H side @ 42 khz
and r111 connected to L side @38 khz. (the High freq wires were not connected)

Thank for posting the screen shots. Do you have any screen shots of the 111 LF side also? Do you have any NMEA source connected to the 295?

Sorry Snips, no screen shot of LF. shouldve thought about that. will take next time out. Also no NMEA connection.

Next time out if you can get a couple of screen shots showing both LF and HF would be nice. Also leave the top of the display set at 0ft and set your range to twice the depth. What I am looking for is to see if those lines go through the bottom.

Switched wiring tranny. L using b175 and H using r111
L is at 50 and H 140

First pic at boat ramp second is out shallow bottom about 24
24 fath.

Any reason why low does not show clearer deep red marks
Like H shows? L pics up bottom detection better but not
Fish marks

Thank you for the additional screen shots.
You have turbulence affecting the 175's performance. If you look closely at the LF side and you can see a gap in the bottom and also the tail is not consistent, it is also affecting the HF side too. If you really want to see the affects of turbulence better put back all the greens and blues into the display. Below is what to look for, any gaps is an indication of turbulence. Turbulence will mask any fish targets that may be there. Flush mounted transducers are very susceptible to turbulence especially on shallow draft hulls.
