I have a FCV295 paired with B175H and B175L both set to TAP-A
The high side the gain seemed very weak and had to turn the gain adjust 10 in calib menu. It’s holding bottom but not showing depth. The low freg. The gain seems fine my only thing is the first 10 feet is solid red. Tried to adjust the TVGIMG_4309.jpeg

Your Tap settings are correct.

When using a chirp transducer on a CW machine, you may need to adjust the frequency being used to find the sweet spot of the transducer. This would likely help the high frequency performance.

The low frequency transducer might be "ringing". Did you fill the gap between the black spacer and the transducer housing with silicone before spinning on the nut? An easy way to test this is to have someone place their hand(s) on the transducer housing while in use and see if the top bands go away.
