I have a fcv 1150 fish finder and I am installing a r509hlw transducer. I would like to know the part number for a temp plug with a wire harness in order to connect the temp sensor in the transducer to the fcv1150.
Could you also tell me the color of the two wires I should connect the temp sensor to.

000-159-697 (8meters) is the required 6 pin temp cable or you could also use 000-176-984-10 (2 meters). You will take the WHITE and BROWN from the transducer and connect it to the GREEN and BLACK.

Thank you, the cable is ordered.

Another question on the XDCR menu, Currently I have setup as follows.
HF connected
FREQ 200KHZ
TRANS 200B-12H
TAP C
LF connected
FREQ 50KHZ
TRANS 50BL-12
TAR A
in light gray the 200KHD shows freq 200.0 and bandwidth as43.2KHZ
in light gray the 50KHZ shows freq 50.0 and bandwidth as 14.8 KHZ
I had guest at the transducer type in order the get the taps at the correct setting of A for high and C for low. Any corrections for a r509lhw airmar. No transducer setting are shown in the transducer menu.

Thanks again

Tony

Waterproof,
Since the 509LHW isn't in the transducer setup menu, the correct way is to set the frequencies manually. Also you will need to reset the Tap setting jumper plug on the LF side to "C". The bandwidth setting is the slewing range for either the LH/HF channel. Normally it will be 10% of the frequency you enter, if you 50Khz and bandwidth would come up as 5Khz.

Thank you.

If I understand you correctly are the tap setting for both 200 and 50 KHZ tap c? Since I have a 509 do I have to set to 200 and 50 KHZ or can I use in between or lower KHZ's.

Thanks

Tony

Waterproof,
No. Since you have a Wide HF the tap setting is "A". So the correct settings are "C" for the LF side and "A" for the HF side.
