Hello everyone. I am new at forum and i have a few questions about choice equipments.
I have a new boat 23ft center console, plannig put Fcv-800 with b60 for bds and a single channel chirp like ss175. I fishing between 65ft-500ft. Bottom fishes "grouper" and tunas at middle water.
There is two questions.
-Couple transducer b60-ss175m or a double chirp transducer like b265lm will be better to find bottom and middle water fishes?
-I will not have a chart plotter. Fcv-800 works with tz iboat and share screen. Can i use my ipad like a chart plotter with Fcv-800? Or is it for just share screen? If like this maybe i will need a 1971f for it.

I’ve been running a fcv800 backboned to a gp1971f it’s a perfect combo as you can utilise the Scroll back function and mark through the 800 directly to the 1971. Im running a B275lhw transducer it works perfectly as I do a lot of Marlin fishing the HW is insanely good for making the water column and works in the bottom out to say 90m where i swap over to the L which I’ve found works perfectly up to 700m so far
