Ahoy!

I'm here looking for some advice, I want to upgrade my Echo sounder to a FCV-800 but I'm not sure about which dual-transducer configuration would be the best choice, at the moment I have a 525STID-MSD 600W which I'm keeping for sure, but my plan is to add also one CHIRP type, as far as I've seen B-175-H should be the best option however I'm not sure, do you have a better recommendation or advice that will be suitable for me, considering that will be use for red snapper mostly, fishing at 200ft avg, max 500ft.
Thanks in advance for your help on this matter

FishPic,

I’d consider selecting the B175HW. This 1kW transducer features a CHIRP high-frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz using a fixed 25° beam width for all its frequencies. This transducer delivers superior shallow-water performance, bottom detail, and excellent fish-target separation. The constant wide beam provides twice the coverage for fish detection for the upper-water column and clear fish arches on the display compared to most high-frequency, narrow-beam transducers. The high wide is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage under the boat are essential down to 500' ft. (152m)
