Hey guys - is there a sun shade made for this unit? Not the white cover, but a shade to improve visibility. I have this mounted on the console of a CC with no top. I've looked high and low for a manufactured unit - but looks like I may have to make my own.
Furuno never manufactured any type of "Sun Shield" for the FCV585, FCV587, or FCV588 series sounders. I have seen people construct their own, but Furuno has never has. :noway
