FCV 1900 Upgrade and sidelooking

Another question, very likely for Snips.
So, in the manual there is a very brief description about sidelooking (maybe I don't understand it well).
As I understand it, it is possible to connect sidelooking transducers and that is very interesting.
Now, if the dual chirp transducer is already connected to the system with the G version, it is used in downlooking, of course.
My question is: how to connect an external fishfinder in sidelooking mode, but with the same frequencies for port and starboard?
I do not understand how this is possible and / or, it is possible at all?

Thank you for your inquiry. I must comment that our good friend Mr. Snips has retired from Furuno USA.
With regards to the Side Looking View, it is something that we have not used in the US before so we don't have any real experience and knowledge to comment from.
