FAP7002 711 connection question

Windpipe

New member
I upgraded my plotter. Old one was only NMEA 0183, new one is only NMEA2K, so I am trying to get everything talking to eachother.

I want to configure port one to send lat/long "GLL" and "ZDA" to my radio, which is the only remaining NMEA0183 device on board.

The TB6/PORT1 NMEA0183 connections are labelled "TBA/TDB/RDH/RDC"

My radio NMEA connections are labeled "NMEA IN-, NMEA IN+, NEMA OUT-. NMEA OUT+"

Does anyone know how the wires should correspond?

I would like to know the wires are connected correctly, so as to not have to trial and error multiple configurations of connecting the wires.

Here is the decoder ring.

TD = Transmit Data
RD = Receive Data
A = +
B = -
H = Hot/High/+
C = Cold/Common/-
SD = Send Data
SG = Signal ground

So going to the radio you will use TDA and TDB connections to tranmit/output data to the radio.

TDA+ to NMEA in +
TDB- to NMEA in -
