FAP-7002 Software download

Hi,

I've just installed a 1971f plotter and I'm wanting to update my 700 Autopilot. Where can I locate the software to do this? I saw software on the Furuno site but it doesn't have the processor and control unit software and I believe I need to perform multiple updates so all units are updated to the same or compatible version.

The NavPilot 700 software is located under the product page(s) of the exact model number of your pilot. For example if you own the NavPilot 711C, when you bring up that model on the website and go under the support/tech documents, you will find the "SOFTWARE" tab. Both the processor (PROC) and controller (CONT) software is posted together with instructions. There is even a video posted showing how the process is done. If you have problems finding it, I recommend contacting technical support. (360-834-9300 or 410-479-4420)

Johnny, are there updated steps for a newer version of windows? The steps and video are great but do not appear to apply to new Windows based computers. Recognising new hardware etc doesn’t appear to work.

Most people have no problem running the update via windows 11 so long as the firewalls are down and antivirus programs are off.
