FA-70 AIS

I have 2 older 12" Nav Net 3d Mfd's and would like to know if the FA-70 AIS is compatible with these older units. The reason I ask is that AIS will not work through the N2K network on the older units, thanks.

You are correct. The NN3D does not accept AIS via NMEA 2000. In this case one would use the NMEA 0183 data from the FA70 and wire it into one of the three 0183 input data ports of the NN3D. Yes the FA70 is compatible with the NN3D.

One more question, what is the minimum distance a GP330B & GPA-C01 antenna can be mounted.

Both are receiving antennas, so they can be very close.. I would give them at least a half inch. The whip on the other hand needs to be at least three feet from these antennas.
