FA 50 transfer of ownership

I just bought a boat and it has navnet 3d a fish finder and a FA50 installed. I need to change the name of the boat on the AIS and transfer or get a new mmsi and call sign. Can I do this myself or does the box have to go to Furuno for reset

Thank you for your question. The FA50 does not need to be sent back to Furuno to change ship information. This can be done by one of our dealers in the field. If you follow the link below, you will be able to find a dealer that is closest to you.
