Hi have a list of waypoints (100+) to enter, can I plug in an external keyboard (usb) as opposed to using the software keyboard?

Not with TZT series one. A keyboard isn't supported or allowed. You can export in CSV format, open on a PC with Microsoft Excel and key in points in the correct columns then re-import.
